Who are we?

Hillingdon Action Group for Addiction Management (HAGAM) is a registered charity and a company limited by guarantee in England. HAGAM has been providing addiction treatment and support services to the community since 1985. Our objectives are:

What services do we offer?

We offer free and confidential drug and alcohol treatment support to adults in the community who are experiencing drug or alcohol-related problems and those who are affected by someone else’s use of drugs or alcohol. Our clients come from all backgrounds and are of all ages, some with long-term addiction and dependency problems.
The philosophy of HAGAM is eclectic, and we believe that Harm Reduction and an Abstinence based approach are not contrasting and mutually exclusive philosophies of treatment, they are rather part of a continuum of treatment. We engage with our clients, assess their needs and work in partnership with a range of agencies to provide appropriate treatment and co-ordinated support and care pathways that include medical treatment, housing, education and employment. Our aim is to help individuals improve their lives and achieve their full potential through provision of appointment based and drop-in services such as;

You will find further details of our services on this website, alternatively you may prefer to give us a call on 01895 207 788 to arrange a convenient time to meet or drop in to make an appointment.
Contact with HAGAM is treated in the strictest confidence.

Who are the services for?

Those who are over 18 years old, living, working or registered with a GP in the London Borough of Hillingdon and;

HAGAM is not a medical or prescribing service, although we do have close links with Hillingdon Drug and Alcohol Service (HDAS) who are based in the same building. Referral and shared care arrangements exist with HDAS, which is helpful to many clients of both services.

How much do they cost?

All our services are provided free of charge. HAGAM is a charity and, whilst there is no charge for services, donations are most appreciated.

Equal Opportunities Policy

HAGAM welcomes people from all sections of the community regardless of age, colour, race, sexuality, creed or religion.
